Introduction and Look Ahead to Training Camp
September 1st, 2009 | by howie9416 |Hello everyone, I’m Howie Sussman and I’ve been a New York Ranger fan since I was 6, having seen both good and bad with this team. I have been going to MSG since the early 80’s and owner of season tickets since 2001. I want to start by saying that this season is going to be an interesting one considering some of the new faces coming in, such as Gaborik, Higgins and Brashear (still wondering about this one) and some of the returning ones from last year. Since training camp is only days away and the first preseason game on 9/15, it will be interesting to see how Tortorella will handle this team now having a full training camp to be able to evaluate the players. The keys this year I feel going in will be: a) can Gaborik stay healthy, b) will their PK still be as good as last year, c) will their PP improve, d) can the D be better, and e) the success of the team rests again on Lundqvists shoulders. I am looking forward to seeing how some of these things will play out and will be looking forward to reading comments from fellow Ranger fans.
