Hitting Rock Bottom vs. Philly
December 30th, 2009 | by howie9416 |Once again, this so called team of hockey players known as the Rangers went out on the MSG ice tonight and simply put up no fight at all and was pasted by the Flyers 6-0 in the final game of their 3 game home stand. I find it amazing that even after the coach called a time out that they still didn’t respond being down 3 goals in the first period. It was a truly pathetic effort and the fans who attended the event should be given refunds for witnessing this disgraceful display. I have to watch these games for my blog, but I would rather have watched paint dry in place of seeing this performance as that would have been more exciting than the game tonight.
With this latest debacle, the team now falls 2 games under .500 at home and its unacceptable for the fans to have to watch anymore bad hockey. It’s time for some changes to be made and soon before this team falls out of the playoff race. It has become quite apparent that this team has given up and quit on the coach and shows no heart whatsoever to not even put up a fight against one of the worst teams in the league. The team has relied on Gaborik, Prospal, and Lundqvist way too much without really any help. Simply put, the team can nowhere without anybody else contributing so as I said before, changes need to made ASAP.
There is nothing else to say except that this was a brutal game and I’m wondering if they are going to play well in Carolina tomorrow night.
